Burgess Hill overcome Lewes 2s in the league.

On Saturday 28th Feb the Lewes 2s entertained Burgess Hill in the league and unfortunately lost 12 – 40. Despite the scoreline it was a really gutsy performace from a 2nd team struck by injury non availability and the added hindrance of a cup game to follow on the sunday.

There was some excellent passages of play with high quality offloads linking forwards and backs and committed runs breaking many tackles from the likes of Big Joe , Sam and Jack . A highlight was a superb individual chip and chase try from Robbie Attwell. Also fullback Adam returning to rugby after a long period away put in a classy performance and deservedly gained the Man of the  match trophy.
